A hilarious satire of people who have suddenly become rich. Mariano (Pugo) and Andres (Togo) are balut (duck embryo) vendors who fortuitously save Rosa's (Rosa Rosal) life. They adopt her and care for her as their own daughter. Armando (Jaime de la Rosa) is a rich suitor who falls in love with Rosa, although his father cannot accept her poverty. But Rosa turns out to be the orphaned daughter of a rich couple.
